Mission of NAMI Wake County
The mission of NAMI Wake County is to
improve the lives of individuals and their
families living with severe and persistent
mental illness. We work to protect the dignity
of people living with brain disorders through
advocacy, education, and support. We are
Wake County's voice on mental illness.
NAMI Wake is an affiliate of NAMI and
NAMI NC. We are part of a national
grassroots organization family members,
consumers, and friends of people with
mental illness.
